This is a schoolproject for the second year of Digital Design & Development in Howest Kortrijk. For this exercise we all got a year and had to make a website about a historical moment that happend in that year. I got the year 1975 and made a website about the japanese Junko Tabei who became the first woman on the Mount Everest in history. She and her team made it to the top at 16th of May in 1975.

I made this website in the style of japanese poster design from the year 1975 - 1980 (examples at the bottom).

I designed a onepager where you have to scroll to the right/left, instead of the usual down/up. This I did to follow the trip up to the mountain top better.
